Full day tour from Port Douglas to Daintree Village, Daintree River and Cassowary Falls, with lots of inclusions, that’s our new Daintree Waters tour. The chance to cruise for crocodiles and see some of the other diverse critters who live on and around the Daintree River, before taking an offroad adventure on a private property with swimming at the stunning Cassowary Falls. This exclusive full day tour includes transfers to and from your Port Douglas accommodation, with informative commentary by friendly guides who are passionate about sharing their knowledge on the environment and area. Pick-ups start from 8.15am with returns from 3.30pm – 4pm. Please Note: We require a minimum of 2 Adult guests to operate this tour. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Cassowary Falls is on a magnificent private property in the Daintree Valley. On this component of the Daintree Waters tour you’ll go off-road into a Jurassic type landscape and feel dwarfed by the mountains and valleys that surround you. It includes an all-action ride in a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV), where your experienced guide splashes across creeks and rivers (dress to get wet!) with jaw dropping views, while sharing their knowledge of this ancient forest with you, as well as seasonal Bush Tucker and farm fruit tasting. The centrepiece experience is swimming at the stunning Cassowary Falls with freshwater turtles and river perch. Cassowary Falls is the place to refresh, revive and relax. Bring your towels, bring your smiles, you are in for an amazing adventure.
Daintree River Cruise Centre opened in 1987 with a vision to showcase the beautiful flora and fauna of the Daintree River and Rainforest, with a focus on environmental protection and sustainability. The Daintree Waters tour includes a 1 hour guided cruise on the Daintree River, where you might see saltwater crocodiles, turtles and birdlife. You’ll learn about this unique ecosystem and be spellbound by the diversity of landscapes that surround you. From sandbanks and leaning trees, to a backdrop of rural farms and Thornton’s Peak. This special place is teeming with creatures great and small so bring your camera and your sense of adventure.
This is a full day tour, with transfers to and from Port Douglas. It includes all the amazing action of the Cassowary Falls tour, with its thrilling driver / guide UTV (4WD) rides splashing across creeks and rivers, Army Truck rides and a 1 hour Daintree River Wildlife Cruise and light lunch by the Daintree River. Pick-ups start in Port Douglas from 8.15am and you will be back in Port Douglas from 3.30pm – 4pm. Please provide your own drinks & food for any infants. We require a minimum of 2 Adult guests to operate this tour.
