With my husband and MIL we drove just under an hour (included takeaway coffee stop in Daintree Village) from Port Douglas to do the 2 hr ATV and Cassowary Falls tour. Another couple joined our group so there were 5 of us with Dan in the drivers seat. Dan (who we called the Irish Steve Irwin) was the perfect, fun and knowledgable guide, driving us to through the private property that had spectacular views and creek beds to splash on through. Interesting stops along the way - edible, visual and sensory. Falls are special and the temperature was lovely. I was glad I brought my reef shoes but bare feet is fine. They’ve got noodles if you’re not comfortable swimming out too far - which I used to get out towards the waterfall. Dan took heaps of photos along the way and airdropped or emailed them to us complimentary. This tour was so worth it! Side note - we stopped at Catch a Barra on way back for fish and chips which was so fresh and tasty.

We did the waterfall tour, with Dan as our guide. He was really passionate, engaging, knowledgeable and kind. We had heaps of fun in the ATV, and loved swimming at the waterfall! This is a must-do tour - highly recommended!

Myself, mum and sister went on a tour with Cassowary Falls crew yesterday.The location is incredible, guides knowledge on the rainforest is spot on and their enthusiasm and excitement is contagious.My only complaint is that the tour isn’t long enough! It would be so easy to spend an entire day there and still not see and experience everything.Special thanks to Dan for making the day so memorable.

What an incredible tour, thank you so much for having us today. We are 2 mums and 2 boys travelling oz and this was up there as one of our best tours. Highly personalised and super informative as well as engaging, it ticked all of our boxes. The buggys gave us a thrilling and comfortable ride, we saw calves which had just been born, eels, fish, 300 million year old ferns, waterfalls and so many amazing plants and trees. We were also very lucky to see a few Ulysses butterfly, so stunning.We found this tour super affordable and it's so much better than any mass group tour of the area.Thanks again guys 🤙

Recently spent 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very peaceful and lovely walk to the falls. The cottage is well fitted out and we enjoyed both the infinity pool and the hot tub.

Cassowary Falls AWD Adventure was awesome!Crashing through the steams in the AWD buggy in the midst of the lovely Daintree scenery, ending up with a swim in the beautiful falls and hand feeding fish, eels and turtles!Guides Dan and Lisa were lovely, knowledgeable and infectious in their enthusiasm!Highly recommended!

Amazing tour! Honestly was awesome. My partner & I had a the best time. The waterfall is incredible, all the animals you see! The ATV ride is like a rollercoaster so much fun. The very friendly Irish tour guides were very knowledgeable, super friendly and made the whole experience so fun! Thanks guys!

We did the ATV tour (welcomed by Lisa who was lovely) with Dan and had such a great time. Dan’s knowledge of the rainforest and trees and birds was incredible. And the waterfall was beautiful. Easy drive from Port Douglas. I would highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I did a tour with hosted by Dan and Lisa, we couldn’t get enough. Dan was filled with knowledge and passionate about the Daintree forest while taking us through awesome 4x4 trails while Lisa took us to a magnificent waterfall that we can swim in and feed fresh water turtles. If you are travelling to the Daintree 100% recommend doing this tour!

My husband and I did the Falls tour. One of the best experiences of my life ever!!Andy (the owner) and Daniel were excellent tour guides, so knowledgeable about the Daintree & the specific aspects of the property itself.They are very friendly & genuinely happy showing people around the beautiful property.The ATV drive was such fun, like a real life park ride driving the tracks & crossing rivers, and we felt safe the whole time, there were even young children on our tour.And you get to see turtles, fish & eels in their natural environment.Then the swim at the Falls!!!Fantastic!! Amazing!!A definite must to get in and have a swim, you won't regret it!! Jump in!! You have to do this tour!!Thank you to the Cassowary Falls team

We did the 2hr ATV and waterfall tour, led by Andy and Bruce. It was absolutely incredible, an amazing experience that was well worth our time! They were both so knowledgable and passionate about the beautiful property, the diverse trees and amazing wildlife. We got to see fish, eels and turtles. The ATV’s were an absolute thrill, getting to go through rivers and down big hills, there was definitely a few screams. Then we stopped at the gorgeous Cassowary falls. The magnificent flowing water, the bright blue pool and the rock ledges created the most picturesque landscape. We got to have a swim and Bruce showed us the safest way to get right under the waterfall.I could not recommend this tour enough. Its an incredible way to have fun, and get such a rich understanding of the beautiful place that is the Daintree Rainforest. Andy and Bruce are sensational and have so much interesting things to offer and are up for some fun as well. So thank you to both!

This was an absolutely wonderful tour! An easy pick up in the morning, an easy drive up to the Daintree Forest, a very fun ATV trip through the rainforest, and a magical time swimming at Cassowary Falls. Andy was a great guide, took photos for us, pointed out the wildlife and was all around very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. Would totally recommend this if you’re looking for a half-day tour, minimal walking, a really lovely swim, a friendly and laid-back yet informative experience, and an up-close and personal experience with wildlife (turtles, fish, butterflies, water dragons and birds, but minimal mosquitoes) in a really cool ATV. Thanks for a great day Andy!

Thank you, Andy and Bruce, for an adventurous and fun-filled morning! Andy picked us up from our lodging and brought us to the property where we transferred to a a ATV. We drove around to different parts of the property while Andy explained the flora and fauna around us. During our trip, we saw fish, eels, tortoises, and a water dragon. The ATV ride was super fun, just make sure you buckle in and are dressed to get a little muddy. Also don’t forget to dress for a quick dip in the waterfall, you won’t regret it!

We stayed at Cassowary Falls for 2 nights while on our honeymoon. We loved everything about staying here! The view, service and serenity are unmatched. We had the most amazing adventure on our private waterfall tour and are already missing their amazing breakfast! We can't recommend them enough.

What an incredible 2 night stay we had the chalet. The room had lovely unique touches such as his and hers bathrobes, well put together information booklet, amenities.The view was so beautiful. The resident dog Bear ensured that we were awake for our cooked daily breakfast and ready for our Cassowary Falls Tour. Andy who was our host is a great character, very knowledgeable, and down to earth. Along with his wife Liz and Bruce certainly delivered an amazing experience. I highly recommend Cassowary Falls.

Being in only a group of 4 made it feel really special and personalised. The ATV ride was a blast, what a great way to be shown around your property! The Cassowary Falls are a must, what a magical place. We were so fortunate so see the fish, turtles and eels, and swim in the majestic clear spring water of the falls. This should definitely be a priority experience for anyone travelling to northern Qld! Andy provided my family with an unforgettable ATV tour through the breathtaking rainforest. The tour's pinnacle was a secluded swimming hole adorned with a magnificent waterfall. Andy, an exceptional tour guide, patiently answered all our questions and captured some wonderful photos of us, which he graciously airdropped after the tour.I wholeheartedly recommend this tour for families with children. My four-year-old son had an absolute blast swimming, riding in the ATV, and spotting the diverse wildlife.

We had some time to kill whilst waiting for our croc tour and saw the sign for a falls tour and decided to go. Quite simply “wow” it was a great decision. Andy is an absolute ripper knew so much above the native fauna and flora. Introduced us to his pet (technically wild ) jungle perch and Rudolph the red nose turtle.Our family loved the tour and highly recommend everyone do it. Thanks Andy!!

Absolutely amazing! Cassowary Falls was the highlight of our trip, especially for the kids who had so much fun in the ATV, swimming and learning about and exploring all of the wildlife - which included patting turtles! WOW, WOW, WOW....This glorious property takes in views across the Daintree Valley with the back drop of Thorntons Peak and the world heritage listed Daintree Rainforest.Each cottage is very private and surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden, and an abundance of native birds and butterflies. The view from the deck is simply stunning.This place is an absolute credit to Liz and Andy, from the attention to detail in all the fixtures and fittings to the amazing breakfasts that are delivered to your door. Let's not forget the delicious cheese platter.A tour down to Cassowary Falls is an absolute must, with a refreshing swim under the waterfall.We have been so spoilt by Liz and Andy, with an ATV adventure down the iconic C.R.E.B. TRACK.It's a shame we have to leave.....Thankyou Liz and Andy for an AMAZING couple of days.❤️

Beautiful place to visit. Bruce took us out for a tour of the grounds including a stop at the waterfall to cool our feet and feed the fish. Quiet, and far away from the rush of the crowds.

From the minute you enter the driveway on this private property you are greeted with a special energy and spectacular views .On our visit we were privileged to be part of the enchanting waterfall tour travelling through the working cattle farm , rainforest , creeks and more.I can’t tell you everything as it would spoil the surprise.Andrew was our host , passionate and informative about everything on his property and is more than happy to share.This is a must do affordable adventure whilst up in the Daintree area.Be sure to book in advance to secure a spot as the groups are small and tailored for a more intimate experience.I can highly recommend this and would definitely rate it 10/10 , just perfect for all.

Went on a tour with Andy this week and is undoubtedly a MUST DO on your trip to far North Queensland. Our family of five all truly adored the experience (and have been reminiscing on it since). Awesome. A must do trip. Fun ride out to the waterfall on a gator. Andy is fabulous, such a funny and engaging guy, who’s passionate and knowledgeable about his piece of paradise. The water temperature is surprisingly perfect… no breathtaking chill… and he takes great photos of you jumping in the waterfall …. We booked this tour in advance. Andy picked all visitors up and drove us through the rainforest to the falls. What an amazing spot to visit. So much beauty and tranquility. Swimming was a unique experience. Saw turtles, lots of fish and an eel.Andy is a great guide with lots of knowledge and funny stories.This was one of the highlights on our Daintree stay. Highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our tour, we had a personal mess up with our transport and Andrew our tour guide and owner of the property took it into his hands to pick us up himself and drive us home again! Couldn’t have asked for a friendlier and educational guide! Andrew drove us through his beautiful property, the Forrest was incredible and felt like Jurassic park.Andrew also supplied us with insect repellent, we got to see the river bursting with life, lots of turtles, some cat fish, guppies i believe they were? We were able to swim in the beautiful waterfall and the water was 23 degrees, i could have stayed there all day! Andrew made sure we were having a great time and Andrew took lots of photos for us to capture the moment. We had an incredibly fun ride back from the falls and then a cruisey drive back to our hotel in a lovely air conditioned bus. We will definitely be back again and recommend this to anyone who’s in port Douglas! Thank you so much Andrew, great day with awesome memories! We’ll be back! 😊

I booked in for the falls tour and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The trail to the waterfall felt like something out of a movie! I got to see turtles, fish and a very large eel! The waterfall itself was magnificent and the water was perfect, the cute turtle watching me swim was a bonus. Definitely would recommend as a must do when visiting the Daintree!

We had a great time in the rainforest. The falls are beautiful and the water is a great temperature. Our kids loved jumping off the rocks at the bottom of the waterfall.

Amazing experience, exactly what we were looking for. Andy was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The water was 23 degrees and far warmer and inviting that Mossman Gorge and the small size of the group meant it was intimate. I would happily recommend spending a a few hours with Andy at Cassowary Falls. It was well worth it! We will be back.

Absolutely LOVED our tour of Cassowary Falls! The scenery is stunning, and our guide Andy was charming, funny, and very knowledgeable. Also - for anyone feeling wary of the swim, the swimming hole feels very safe. Even on a rainy day this tour was amazing.

Such a great experience and well worth it if you find yourself in Port Douglas surrounding areas. The falls were beautiful and are only about 1h from Port Douglas.The trip to the falls was enjoyable. We were picked up from our accomodation and along the drive there were beautiful views of both the mountains and the coast. At the base of the falls we changed from a van to a safari vehicle which was a fun experience, especially to be able to enjoy the nature around the falls. We saw lots of wildlife like butterflies, birds, fish and turtles. The falls were a beautiful sight and a lovely swim in a clear and fresh water was welcome in the warm weather.Andrew was a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable giving great tid bits of information about the history of towns and about the wildlife at the falls. He also took photos of our experience which was amazing as it allowed us to enjoy the moment and not worry about capturing things. He easily shared these to us through AirDrop on iPhone.TLDR; Totally worth it! Great location, great host, affordable price!

Can’t speak highly enough of this tour and our tour guide Andy. He was funny, personable and knowledgeable about the area. As for the tour itself, including the ATV and the swim with the turtles, was truly excellent. Would recommend to anyone visiting FNQ.

This place is amazing, so peaceful and tranquil. It is the perfect place to get away from it all. The accommodation is first class and the breakfast divine. All of your needs are catered for.The highlight really is the waterfall experience led by host Andy which is a great place for a swim with a true rainforest experience.Will be back for sure.

We went on the tour with Andy and it was amazing! We got into his very nice car and he told us some very interesting facts. The waterfall was so beautiful and there were even cute turtles in there. A very nice tour! We can very recommend this! Thanks Andy!!

We booked Cassowary falls Tour to the waterfall and it did not disappoint! Andy rocked up in a buggy and scooted us off to his private aquarium, the kids loved seeing the turtles, eels and fish. We also got to go for a divine swim under the waterfall. It was beautiful!

From meeting Andy, our guide, he was warm and friendly. Andy met our expectations and then some. Wonderful experience off road driving and commentary. Andy is passionate about the environment.I would highly recommend a day trip to experience the natural wonders of this magical spot.Well done Andy I will visitagain.

Our host Andrew was to put it simply an “awesome human being”. A real carer of the environment, he showed us a great time at the Cassowary Falls- You simply must do this tour which lasts about 90 mins. You simply cant do the Daintree without doing this. Bring your bathers

Incredible experience with Andy today. Took my friends and I on an unforgettable tour. The waterfall was better than any other I’ve seen and the fact we had a whole waterfall to 4 of us for a solid hour + made the experience so much better. Swimming amongst fishes and turtles. All whilst being very informative with info, Andy made the experience fun and educational.For $59 this experience could have cost me double that and I’d still be happy!

Loved our stay at Cassowary Falls! Perfect for a relaxing break with amazing views and lots of birds to watch! The chalets are beautifully decorated and so comfortable! Would definitely recommend the cooked breakfast and doing the tour to the waterfalls! Brilliant stay, brilliant hosts, would love to visit again!

Cassowary Falls is truly a 5 star accommodation! The chalet is well equipped from entertainment to cooking and the hot tub was great to use in the cool weather with a gorgeous view to gaze out upon. The views were fantastic and the environment was really relaxing accompanied by the sounds of the nature. Definitely do visit the waterfall which is way better than the one at daintree and go for a dip! The walk back from the falls had fantastic views too! The cooked breakfast was great especially the mushroomsin the sauce! Thumbs up for the great hospitality Andy, Liz and Bear :)

Awesome spot, but it is private property so they only take tour bookings, you cant actually get to the falls, the owner was friendly and explained the booking process the scenic drive was great 👍

We have absolutely loved our stay and very sad to be leaving tomorrow - this is without a doubt the best place we've ever stayed! Andy was a great host, very friendly and engaging, and clearly passionate about the local area, flora, fauna and accommodation.The chalets are fitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay - having a champagne in the spa at sunset was amazing! All the appliances are top notch (don't even get me started on all the features of the bed), and the extra snacks and supplies included in the fridge were a nice touch. The view from Chalet 3 was phenomenal and we could easily spend hours watching all the different birds and butterflies. Andy also took us on a tour to the waterfall where we had a refreshing swim (and saw turtles and perch), and then a great walk back through the extensive property. 5/5 - do yourself a favour and stay here when visiting the Daintree, you won't regret it!

Highly recommend spending time here at the luxury chalets. The chalets have everything you need to relax - from a zero gravity bed to some of the most peaceful and serene views you don’t get anywhere else.I went with my partner and we had the breakfast for all the mornings that we were there. Andy and his family are extremely welcoming and particularly the private tour towards the waterfall was magical. We will be back!

Magical! Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia! Beautiful location - remote but not far away! Delicious breakfast served to you door. Wonderful hosts. Incredible trails and tour to the falls! And not far from the little village of Daintree where we also enjoyed dinners. Loved it all and highly recommend this very special place!

Just an awesome hidden gem. From the detail in the room, love the bed, to the mountain views each morning. Then there was the private waterfall tour, a must do if staying here. Then the surprise cheese, crackers, fruit platter with a lovely bottle of bubbly. Thanks Andy and Liz. You did a fantastic job.
