Mary and Lucas were absolutely fantastic and made the day unforgettable.Mary was exceptional—her knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for the area, its history, wildlife, and everything included in the tour really shone through. She explained everything so well and made every stop interesting and engaging.Although Lucas wasn’t in our vehicle, he still took the time to come over and chat with us, answer questions, and share his knowledge. One of the highlights was seeing him emerge from the bush with different bush tucker for everyone to try—it added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience.The waterfalls were absolutely beautiful, and the whole day was perfectly organised. If you’re looking for a tour that’s informative, scenic, and led by genuinely passionate guides, I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. Thank you, Mary and Lucas, for such an amazing day!
Our Experience of cassowary Falls was really great. Kat and Ellen We amazing hosts and could drive a mean ATV!! Their knowledge of the local area was great have the energy that they provided throughout the experience was awesome. Topping it off was the swim at the falls and seeing the water life in action. Would recommend to Anyone who loves a bit of adventure. An incredible experience overall.
Mary was a great guide, and as we booked the full-day Daintree Waters Tour, she showed us around and brought a wealth of knowledge to our buggy ride and subsequently, the crocodile tour and the waterfall swim. The water was quite refreshing, and Mary brought us to this spot both educationally and with a kind and knowledgeable spirit. She definitely was what a good tour guide was, and we were very pleased with our trip.
11/10 experience. We had the absolute best time! Cass was the ultimate guide, ATV driver and photographer! Couldn’t recommend enough, definitely a must do if you’re up in the Daintree.
A must do!! 2nd time we've been to Cassowary Falls. Had an absolute blast on the ATV Tour. Kids wanted to go back again the next day. Tasting fruits straight off the trees. Racing through the rainforest in the buggy. Such beautiful scenery. Swimming at the waterfall. Feeding fish and turtles, even patted an eel. We did a tour with guides Kat & Lucas. It was so much fun!! Lots of interesting knowledge about local land marks, bush tucker & bush medicine. We got to try some yummy fruit and berries on the property. The waterfall was awesome!!! Sooo beautiful & full of fish turtle & even an eel my daughter got to pat! The buggy ride to the falls was so much fun!! I now have 2 little girls asking if we can get a buggy 😂 big thank you to our guides & the property owner, we had a wonderful experience
Our family of 6 LOVED this tour - from our 6 and 9 year old sons to my 78 year old parents! The guides, Bruce, Mary and Cass were so friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed every minute of the tour - learning about the forest and different native plants, trying different fruits, patting Lucky the eel and the turtles, swimming in the freshwater with the waterfall and the super fun buggies! So good!
What a great day ! We were picked up at our hotel and driven to this wonderful private property in the Daintree forest. Our hosts Cass and Mary were fantastic, very friendly and laid back but enthusiastic and very knowledgable and informative about the loca flora and fauna including friendly eels, fish and turtles. The ATV ride to the falls was fun, with several stream crossings and Cass zooming through them. Mary was great at the falls showing us how to climb up behind the waterfall and jump into the whitewash. Cass then drove us to the Daintree river croc spotting boat ride that was fun too and then back to our Hotel.We highly recommend this trip.
Had a wonderful three hours with Cass and Mary on a cassowary falls tour. So much fun being in the atv’s and both ladies were very good, cautious and very capable drivers. Cass took us at more speed across creek beds which caused lots of splashing and lots of squeals and laughter from all of us in the vehicle.They had so much knowledge and obvious passion for all the local medicinal plants all the fruit trees the owners have planted and just the rain forest in general.We saw Cass’ s ‘friend’ Lucky the eel and we all know so much more now about freshwater eels in general after her talk. Then the falls ! Half of our group swam and Mary was so good to dive in first, show us where to sit on a rock for a rest and how to safely climb up the rocks to stand under the waterfall. Lots of turtles and fish in this gorgeous settingCass and Mary are enthusiastic lovely friendly ladies and are such a wonderful asset to this tour in such a beautiful part of the world. Highly recommend this tour

Great time on the ATV Tour & Waterfall swim. Well worth spending a morning doing if you're in the Daintree. Cass & Mary were great hosts and knew everything about the local flora & fauna. Amazing location as well with tonnes of wildlife, plants and waterways to splash through at high speed (if you're up for it). The waterfall itself is stunning and an incredibly scenic place to go for a swim. Add it to the bucket list!
This was a great adventure. We drove in a Jeep into the forest. They took us to a stunning waterfall were we swim and jump from the fall. They explain to us about the different plans that have been used for medicine and food. Very informative and super fun!
We did the atv tour at cassowary falls and had the best time! Cass, our guide made the experience a lot of fun and boy she can drive that ATV! Would definitely come back again
My daughter and I had a blast today on the UTV Cassowary Falls tour with Cass, Kat, and Mary! All super sweet girls who shared so much about the fruits and flora and fauna we saw during the tour. Loved getting to taste all the fresh picked fruit - ladies, way to brave the thorns to pick some for us! UTV ride was super fun - thanks for going fast for us, Cass! (Expect to get wet!) The waterfall was stunning - definitely a highlight for the both of us to get to swim in the falls and see all those fish, eels, and turtles (and wash off the dirt from the UTV ride). Thanks for a fun day - cheers!!
We are relatively frequent visitors to FNQ and were looking for something a little different to do. Cassowary Falls looked like a possibility- and it didn’t disappoint! Great fun in buggy with a few good thrills and then a short but easy walk to the beauty and delight of Cassowary Falls. Thanks CAS, Cat, Mary and Bruce for a wonderful experience!
Would have to be top 3 things I’ve done.Magical place in the Daintree forest. UTV fun. Learnt about plant medicine from the forest, got to try green ants, met Lucky the eel, saw some turtles and swam in the waterfall. What a magical place. Came for a girls trip but already planning to bring the family up here. Shout out to Cass and Mary for a wonderful 2.5 hours in the forest. They were so knowledgeable, helpful and such amazing hosts!🧚 🌴💚

Came here for a half day trip of the falls. Had an awesome time. The girls, Mary and Kas? Were so amazing with our little boy and you could tell how passionate Bruce was about this magical place and all the knowledge that comes with it. Amazing spot. Met Lucky the Eel and plenty of fish and turtles and learnt about some bush tucka and tried fruits. Would rate this to anybody , well worth the experience.
we had the best day. was everything advertised and more. bruce, cass and mary were welcoming and informative. the ATV ride was so much fun and jumping under the waterfall was a highlight for me. i have a slight mobility restriction and didn’t think i could climb, but with supportive hand from bruce, i did it! i also liked how the group was small and the bush tucker was a surprise bonus. yes i recommend wholeheartedly

We took a 2-hour and 30-minute tour with my husband, our kids, and my mother-in-law.Our tour guides, Cat, Marie, and Cass, are drivers, knowledgeable, and stopped to show us things along the way. Sampling the fresh fruit on the property was a highlight. We tried oranges, blue tongue berries, pomelo, and grapefruit. Everything tasted fresh. I tried eating a green ant!The wildlife viewing at the creek was outstanding. We saw turtles, freshwater eels, pearl fish, and an egret's nest. Blue Ulysses butterflies were everywhere.The waterfall swim was a highlight. The water was chilly but refreshing, and we loved being able to jump right in by the falls. The amount of fun and adventure packed into the time is impressive. The team gave us a recommendation to eat at the Crocodile Express Cafe afterward, which was the finish to our day.

We went up to Cassowary Falls on a tour and took the side by side buggy's into the Falls. It's great because it's a full experience not just a waterfall. We did water crossings in the buggy's, saw cows, birds and animals and then a short rainforest walk up to the Falls. Cassowary Falls is absolutely stunning and such a great spot to swim. Can't fault the experience and next time we go up there we might try and stay in the accommodation. One thing to note is that you have to do the tour to go to the Falls so don't just expect to go up and just be able to do the Falls by themselves or walk in. Worth it though
We are visiting Daintree on our honeymoon and had an excellent time with Cass and Mary! They are incredibly knowledgable about the rainforest from the citrus fruit to the trees and canopy to the animals. The waterfall was amazing. We had such a great time seeing the fish and turtles and jumping from the waterfall. Highly recommend!!
We had an incredible experience with our guide Cass. We visited the Daintree on our honeymoon and were lucky enough to have a private tour with Cass. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable of the property, vehicles, and falls but was also so kind and genuine. We had such a fun time exploring and learning about the falls / property and region. Would highly recommend! The falls were beautiful itself and swimming / jumping off the rocks were a highlight! Cass made us feel safe and made the experience such an enjoyable time.
Andy, Mary & Cass were our guides and honestly they were amazing!! We were a group of 7 & every single one of us had the best experience. The cassowary waterfall was magical! Being able to jump off the rocks & swim in the fall was an incredible experience itself. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Definitely one for the books, what a beautiful memory we will cherish.
Great location. Fantastic scenery. Great guides. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable able the environment and even had the jungle perch, turtles, and eels literally eating out of his hands. Cass was our driver, also very knowledgeable and a joy to be with. Maria the 3rd driver was also great. They made a great team and enjoyed every minute. We had a swim at the base of the waterfall and the buggies were a fun off road experience. Highly recommended.
UTV tour to the falls was the best! So happy we decided to do this while we were in the Daintree. Mary was our guide and was super knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. The ride itself is a lot of fun and the falls were beautiful and so refreshing to swim in. We saw lots of fish, turtles and even a couple eels which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Gave Molly the instruction to floor it at all times and smash into the water. She obliged and more! The whole experience was great from start to finish. Waterfall and swimming hole is one of the best, you can even get in behind the waterfall and stand there.

Andy and Liz are just the best - friendly, accommodating and simply great fun. Not only that, they have built a team of guides who clearly love them as much as we did. Molly, Mary and Bruce were just incredibly helpful, charismatic and made the whole experience feel like a school reunion. Bruce was a standout with his amazing knowledge of bush foods, medicine and a passion for the rainforest delivered in a hilarious manner. Wouldn't be surprised if he's an Irwin relative. Culminating with a swim at the falls was an unforgettable experience and almost spiritual. As the team can tailor the experience according to age, interest and time, no one need miss out on this incredible corner of the world and neither should you.
My partner Mike and l went on a day trip to Cassowary Falls and wow what a magical day it was! When we booked the trip we had know idea what a treat we were in for. Our tour guides Molly and Raine really knew their stuff and were very knowledgeable on the local bush tucker. Mike and l rode with Molly and she was so awesome, the amazing amount of fun we had during the trip plus mud and water was such a rush l couldn't stop laughing through sheer enjoyment. Both Molly and Raine were very attentive to everyones needs. Also one board was a new crew member and she was delghtful as well. I highly recommend this day trip to anyone visiting port douglas, believe me you won't regret it the day will live on in our memories for many a year to come and we also got to make some amazing new friends. The most amazing experience! We were greeted with the biggest smile by Molly. She shared her amazing knowledge of the Daintree and its ecosystem. A meeting with the local turtles and eels at Cassowary falls was followed by an uninterrupted swim in the falls. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this guided tour and cannot recommended it highly enough. Put it on your list of experiences on your next visit to the Daintree!

We did an ATV tour to the falls and it was THE BEST TIME! The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable about the land, falls, history, fauna and flora. We didn’t realize we’d learn so much! I highly recommend this experience to everyone! (Worth noting that we were in a monsoon during this ride, which made it muddier and wetter and better - the best rainy day activity!)

Awesome tour, absolutely grouse waterfall and swimming spot with heaps of great views and beautiful rainforest. Bruce the tour guide was a grouse bloke and gave lots of valuable information about animals and rainforest plants, Would highly recommend!

Today we had the pleasure of going on the half day UTV tour at Cassowary Falls. From the moment we arrived we were so pleased with the warm welcome given to us by our guide, Bruce.Bruce gave us a memorable & fun experience, sharing with us his extensive knowledge of the land, including the Aboriginal ways of utilising the flora & fauna of the rainforest for survival, amongst the breathtaking landscape of the Daintree Rainforest.This was not a boring ride with a rehearsed spiel- Bruce made it so interesting & interactive of all of our senses!The waterfall was magnificent & the UTV gave us a great laugh & an adventurous time.Although we didn’t stay at the accommodation, it looks & sounds amazing & we wouldn’t hesitate to book there in the future.Thank you Bruce & well done to the owners & staff for creating such a fantastic, fun & educational experience on your own slice of paradise for us to all enjoy & appreciate.
Such a memorable tour! Andy hosted my wife and our three kids over the weekend, and it far exceeded any expectations we had. He was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the rainforest, and his approach kept the kids completely engaged—encouraging them to try different fruits and really immerse themselves in the experience.The ATV ride alone was special, but combined with the majestic surroundings and Andy’s engaging guidance, it made the entire tour truly unforgettable. Cassowary Falls must do!!!Thanks to Bruce, Molly and the team for a great experienceATV is for all travellers including families we were in a group with a family of 5 youngest 4yrs old.The view travelling through the privately owned land, fruit orchards and rainforest was amazing and very peaceful.The waterfall was refreshing water is usually clear however we did travel with recent rain events made it a little murky.There are 3 chalets located on the property.We did the full tour including lunch and the Daintree river cruise and given the time of year and day we were very fortunate to have spotted some well known crocs of the area.Thank you for a wonderful day we will definitely be back with our kids and hope people take the opportunity to visit.

We went on a guided trip to Cassowary Falls with Molly. Molly was just the sweetest—she was especially great at telling us about all the different plants and animals we saw along the way, from wild plants and edible fruits to turtles, dragons (agamas), butterflies, and more. We swam in the waterfall—what a paradise. This is absolutely a trip we will never forget.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic experience we had yesterday with the sweet and fun Estella as our tour guide. We went with our 4 kids ranging from ages 4 to 13 years and it was honestly an experience of a life time. The quad buggy ride was a highlight for the kids, we loved learning from Estella’s vast knowledge of the Daintree rainforest and surrounding area, it was so interesting and all our kids loved it. Estella took her time in stopping and explaining different things and she made the ride through the water and up and down the hills so fun! The waterfall was absolutely stunning!! We had as much time as we wanted swimming and jumping off the rocks. Estella made the kids feel so comfortable guiding the kids on how to jump and made them feel so confident to fully enjoy every part of the waterfall. Thank you Estella! My brother and his family are coming to Port Douglas in January and we have recommended this tour as a MUST!
I was shocked disgusted and appalled when attempting to visit one of australia’s natural wonders the cassowary water fall the same one my mother visited 30 years ago, to be refused entry as the “surrounding” property (loophole) has been bought up by wealthy investors and is now private property. The only way to see it is to book it via online with a tour group in advance and pay, get this !!! $130 DOLLARS, to see a waterfall 🤣! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT I am seriously shocked and disgusted over what has become of one of queenslands most beautiful natural wonders. You can not see it with out paying $130 dollars and $49 dollars for kids 🤣🤣🤣 great work guys keeping it a dollar under 50 for the kids you are real hero’s 🤣🤣. I strongly encourage no one to visit this place again until the unethical wealthy owners who are exploiting and literally gate keeping the waterfall reduce their prices drastically or make it free entirely, or maybe even allow entry on arrival with a small fee no booking required. They have far too much power over this beautiful waterfall they do not own the waterfall just the property that surrounds it so this amount of restrictive access to the waterfall is unjust unethical and this scheme would crumble under legal pursuit. I am so sad and dis-heartened to have been denied access. I was only in this region for a day so even if I wanted to pay I still could not see it because it needs to be booked online and paid for in advance. All because some pathetic elitist owners feel entitled to rip off hard working people who just want to admire the beauty of Australia. How, the council and government allow this to happen, is just atrocious as well.Ps. I emailed the council hoping they too might have concern for this, they did not respond, unsurprisingly.

I just did the 2.5 hour tour with my husband and 20 month old daughter and it was amazing!! we sat in the front seat of the ATV with Bruce, with our daughter on our lap. We felt safe the whole time, the experience was soo fun and informative and Bruce was super considerate of our daughter being so little. She had a great time, got to hang out with the turtles and have a swim at the waterfall. Would highly highly recommend (even being 7 months pregnant and with a toddler). Estella and Bruce were highly informative and really great people.The location is superb and as it’s private land you don’t get hundreds of other people just turning up. Next time we are up this way we will definitely do the tour again.
Now this is how you experience Australia. If you want something thats off the beaten path, more personal and gets you to really learn more about the Daintree Rainforest this is it. The most bang for your buck! The 2.5 hour tour was more than the 8 hour tours I have taken elsewhere. Shout out to Stella! 10/10 knowing what I know now I would have done this sooner in my trip. We came for a hike and ended up on the best adventure ever.We thought we were in for a brutal trek through the Daintree… turns out it was ATVs, turtles, and an eel named Lucky. Bruce and Molly are legends—teaching us which plants won’t kill you and which might, before hitting up a waterfall swim straight out of a postcard.Best “hike” of my life. 10/10 would trade my walking boots for an ATV everytime.Can’t wait to come back and stay next time!
The best tour we've done hands down! Thanks to our guide Stella for sharing her wealth of knowledge and sense of fun, we learned so much and had such a good time exploring the rainforest, ecosystem, creeks, animals and falls. Felt like we were on a Jurassic Park adventure! Swimming in the Falls with turtles was magical.We loved it and left with an even deeper respect for this very special part of the world. We did the ATV tour to the waterfall and absolutely loved it! Bruce, Stella and Molly were amazing and knowledgeable guides and the drive to the waterfall was super fun and very scenic. The waterfall itself was just the icing on the cake! 10/10 would recommend.
Wow!! What an amazing tour. The property and the waterfall took our breath away. Our amazing guides Molly, Bruce, and Stella were so knowledgeable and made sure everyone had an unforgettable experience. Would absolutely recommend this tour. It is one of the best in the Daintree!!

Did the Cassowary falls and ATV tour - what a time! Stella was super knowledgeable about the area, had us taste some wild fruits, swim with the fishes, and was overall a great guide. Would recommend to anyone.
Beautiful location, and a wonderful host, Ms Molly she reminded me of Merida (Disney princess) but the Aussie version red hair bare feet and knew so much about the land! Had the best time eating the fruit, patting fish and marveling at this gorgeous property.
We did the Cassowary Falls Tour (2,5h).The tour was very interesting and full of action! I learned a lot about the rainforest, and swimming at the beautiful waterfall was an absolute highlight. The guides were very motivated and passionate, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was truly a lot of fun! Thank you very much!
We did the Cassowary falls guided tour with guide Stella, it was so much fun and highly educational. A definite must do. Highly recommended. Swimming with fish and turtles under the falls was sublime.
We had the most amazing day with the Cassowary Falls team (Estella, Molly & Bruce). Cannot recommend highly enough - the perfect balance of fun, adrenaline, eco-tourism & education! Estella took care of us for the day and was SOOOO friendly and easy to talk to, we loved her. Chatted easily all day and her local knowledge of the area was amazing - she was smiling fm pick up to drop off. She was so much fun - loved the relaxed vibe the guides had with each other. Bruce was such a proud local and it felt like such a privilege to have him share this incredibly unique part of the world with us. Thanks guys!!!! Loved it!!!
Today we had the pleasure to have Bruce as our guide. What an amasing place.Bruce showed us all the bush fruit.Tasted fantastic. Great fun on the UTV ,speed through creeks, up and down valley's. Awsome tour. And the swim at the falls was amasing.This is a must do.Thanks Bruce.
Stella took four of us out for a couple of hours and it was the best experience we have had so far in Australia. Stella was very knowledgeable, always smiling and very sharp, she made the the rain forest come alive and her understanding of the wildlife and the vegetation, the trip to the waterfall, the sheer fun of the drive was great, thank you Stella, you rock😊
