We had an incredible experience with our guide Cass. We visited the Daintree on our honeymoon and were lucky enough to have a private tour with Cass. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable of the property, vehicles, and falls but was also so kind and genuine. We had such a fun time exploring and learning about the falls / property and region. Would highly recommend! The falls were beautiful itself and swimming / jumping off the rocks were a highlight! Cass made us feel safe and made the experience such an enjoyable time.
Andy, Mary & Cass were our guides and honestly they were amazing!! We were a group of 7 & every single one of us had the best experience. The cassowary waterfall was magical! Being able to jump off the rocks & swim in the fall was an incredible experience itself. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Definitely one for the books, what a beautiful memory we will cherish.
Great location. Fantastic scenery. Great guides. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable able the environment and even had the jungle perch, turtles, and eels literally eating out of his hands. Cass was our driver, also very knowledgeable and a joy to be with. Maria the 3rd driver was also great. They made a great team and enjoyed every minute. We had a swim at the base of the waterfall and the buggies were a fun off road experience. Highly recommended.
UTV tour to the falls was the best! So happy we decided to do this while we were in the Daintree. Mary was our guide and was super knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. The ride itself is a lot of fun and the falls were beautiful and so refreshing to swim in. We saw lots of fish, turtles and even a couple eels which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

We did the full day tour as a group of 8 and had a fantastic time. Everything was well organised with easy pick up from our hotel and super friendly, passionate and knowledgeable guides.The UTVs were so much fun in the rain! We got to see crocs in the wild on the boat trip, try local fruits and plants. The falls were beautiful too. Such a cool place.Highly recommend this tour exploring the Daintree
Gave Molly the instruction to floor it at all times and smash into the water. She obliged and more! The whole experience was great from start to finish. Waterfall and swimming hole is one of the best, you can even get in behind the waterfall and stand there.

Andy and Liz are just the best - friendly, accommodating and simply great fun. Not only that, they have built a team of guides who clearly love them as much as we did. Molly, Mary and Bruce were just incredibly helpful, charismatic and made the whole experience feel like a school reunion. Bruce was a standout with his amazing knowledge of bush foods, medicine and a passion for the rainforest delivered in a hilarious manner. Wouldn't be surprised if he's an Irwin relative. Culminating with a swim at the falls was an unforgettable experience and almost spiritual. As the team can tailor the experience according to age, interest and time, no one need miss out on this incredible corner of the world and neither should you.
My partner Mike and l went on a day trip to Cassowary Falls and wow what a magical day it was! When we booked the trip we had know idea what a treat we were in for. Our tour guides Molly and Raine really knew their stuff and were very knowledgeable on the local bush tucker. Mike and l rode with Molly and she was so awesome, the amazing amount of fun we had during the trip plus mud and water was such a rush l couldn't stop laughing through sheer enjoyment. Both Molly and Raine were very attentive to everyones needs. Also one board was a new crew member and she was delghtful as well. I highly recommend this day trip to anyone visiting port douglas, believe me you won't regret it the day will live on in our memories for many a year to come and we also got to make some amazing new friends. The most amazing experience! We were greeted with the biggest smile by Molly. She shared her amazing knowledge of the Daintree and its ecosystem. A meeting with the local turtles and eels at Cassowary falls was followed by an uninterrupted swim in the falls. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this guided tour and cannot recommended it highly enough. Put it on your list of experiences on your next visit to the Daintree!

We did an ATV tour to the falls and it was THE BEST TIME! The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable about the land, falls, history, fauna and flora. We didn’t realize we’d learn so much! I highly recommend this experience to everyone! (Worth noting that we were in a monsoon during this ride, which made it muddier and wetter and better - the best rainy day activity!)

Awesome tour, absolutely grouse waterfall and swimming spot with heaps of great views and beautiful rainforest. Bruce the tour guide was a grouse bloke and gave lots of valuable information about animals and rainforest plants, Would highly recommend!

What a fun tour! Guides/owner were welcoming and informative. Buggy ride was exciting and fun. The waterfall was absolutely stunning and no crocs on this private property so swimming is safe. The fish, turtles and water wild life made my kids day! Highly recommend visiting this property.
Today we had the pleasure of going on the half day UTV tour at Cassowary Falls. From the moment we arrived we were so pleased with the warm welcome given to us by our guide, Bruce.Bruce gave us a memorable & fun experience, sharing with us his extensive knowledge of the land, including the Aboriginal ways of utilising the flora & fauna of the rainforest for survival, amongst the breathtaking landscape of the Daintree Rainforest.This was not a boring ride with a rehearsed spiel- Bruce made it so interesting & interactive of all of our senses!The waterfall was magnificent & the UTV gave us a great laugh & an adventurous time.Although we didn’t stay at the accommodation, it looks & sounds amazing & we wouldn’t hesitate to book there in the future.Thank you Bruce & well done to the owners & staff for creating such a fantastic, fun & educational experience on your own slice of paradise for us to all enjoy & appreciate.
Such a memorable tour! Andy hosted my wife and our three kids over the weekend, and it far exceeded any expectations we had. He was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the rainforest, and his approach kept the kids completely engaged—encouraging them to try different fruits and really immerse themselves in the experience.The ATV ride alone was special, but combined with the majestic surroundings and Andy’s engaging guidance, it made the entire tour truly unforgettable. Cassowary Falls must do!!!Thanks to Bruce, Molly and the team for a great experienceATV is for all travellers including families we were in a group with a family of 5 youngest 4yrs old.The view travelling through the privately owned land, fruit orchards and rainforest was amazing and very peaceful.The waterfall was refreshing water is usually clear however we did travel with recent rain events made it a little murky.There are 3 chalets located on the property.We did the full tour including lunch and the Daintree river cruise and given the time of year and day we were very fortunate to have spotted some well known crocs of the area.Thank you for a wonderful day we will definitely be back with our kids and hope people take the opportunity to visit.

We went on a guided trip to Cassowary Falls with Molly. Molly was just the sweetest—she was especially great at telling us about all the different plants and animals we saw along the way, from wild plants and edible fruits to turtles, dragons (agamas), butterflies, and more. We swam in the waterfall—what a paradise. This is absolutely a trip we will never forget.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic experience we had yesterday with the sweet and fun Estella as our tour guide. We went with our 4 kids ranging from ages 4 to 13 years and it was honestly an experience of a life time. The quad buggy ride was a highlight for the kids, we loved learning from Estella’s vast knowledge of the Daintree rainforest and surrounding area, it was so interesting and all our kids loved it. Estella took her time in stopping and explaining different things and she made the ride through the water and up and down the hills so fun! The waterfall was absolutely stunning!! We had as much time as we wanted swimming and jumping off the rocks. Estella made the kids feel so comfortable guiding the kids on how to jump and made them feel so confident to fully enjoy every part of the waterfall. Thank you Estella! My brother and his family are coming to Port Douglas in January and we have recommended this tour as a MUST!
I was shocked disgusted and appalled when attempting to visit one of australia’s natural wonders the cassowary water fall the same one my mother visited 30 years ago, to be refused entry as the “surrounding” property (loophole) has been bought up by wealthy investors and is now private property. The only way to see it is to book it via online with a tour group in advance and pay, get this !!! $130 DOLLARS, to see a waterfall 🤣! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT I am seriously shocked and disgusted over what has become of one of queenslands most beautiful natural wonders. You can not see it with out paying $130 dollars and $49 dollars for kids 🤣🤣🤣 great work guys keeping it a dollar under 50 for the kids you are real hero’s 🤣🤣. I strongly encourage no one to visit this place again until the unethical wealthy owners who are exploiting and literally gate keeping the waterfall reduce their prices drastically or make it free entirely, or maybe even allow entry on arrival with a small fee no booking required. They have far too much power over this beautiful waterfall they do not own the waterfall just the property that surrounds it so this amount of restrictive access to the waterfall is unjust unethical and this scheme would crumble under legal pursuit. I am so sad and dis-heartened to have been denied access. I was only in this region for a day so even if I wanted to pay I still could not see it because it needs to be booked online and paid for in advance. All because some pathetic elitist owners feel entitled to rip off hard working people who just want to admire the beauty of Australia. How, the council and government allow this to happen, is just atrocious as well.Ps. I emailed the council hoping they too might have concern for this, they did not respond, unsurprisingly.

I just did the 2.5 hour tour with my husband and 20 month old daughter and it was amazing!! we sat in the front seat of the ATV with Bruce, with our daughter on our lap. We felt safe the whole time, the experience was soo fun and informative and Bruce was super considerate of our daughter being so little. She had a great time, got to hang out with the turtles and have a swim at the waterfall. Would highly highly recommend (even being 7 months pregnant and with a toddler). Thanks for such an incredible experience Bruce and Estella!
Had an absolutely fantastic time on our tour, Bruce and Estella were amazing.. couldn’t rate it anymore than 5 stars but it’s definitely a 10 out of 10 for us … Highly recommend it !!! Estella and Bruce were highly informative and really great people.The location is superb and as it’s private land you don’t get hundreds of other people just turning up. Next time we are up this way we will definitely do the tour again.
Now this is how you experience Australia. If you want something thats off the beaten path, more personal and gets you to really learn more about the Daintree Rainforest this is it. The most bang for your buck! The 2.5 hour tour was more than the 8 hour tours I have taken elsewhere. Shout out to Stella! 10/10 knowing what I know now I would have done this sooner in my trip. Thank you for this reasonably priced, family friendly experience!
We came for a hike and ended up on the best adventure ever.We thought we were in for a brutal trek through the Daintree… turns out it was ATVs, turtles, and an eel named Lucky. Bruce and Molly are legends—teaching us which plants won’t kill you and which might, before hitting up a waterfall swim straight out of a postcard.Best “hike” of my life. 10/10 would trade my walking boots for an ATV everytime.Can’t wait to come back and stay next time!
The best tour we've done hands down! Thanks to our guide Stella for sharing her wealth of knowledge and sense of fun, we learned so much and had such a good time exploring the rainforest, ecosystem, creeks, animals and falls. Beautiful location, and a wonderful host, Ms Molly she reminded me of Merida (Disney princess) but the Aussie version red hair bare feet and knew so much about the land! Had the best time eating the fruit, patting fish and marveling at this gorgeous property.

Stella took four of us out for a couple of hours and it was the best experience we have had so far in Australia. What an AMAZING experience. Stella and Molly were incredible. We started off this intitmate adventure on two buggies (max 10 people at a time) and they taught us which wild berries and fruit we could eat, history of the private property and surrounding history listed daintree rainforest. We then finished off with a surreal swim with at the majestic ✨️ waterfall, while out 4 and 6 year old kids patted and fed fish, eels and turtles. The highlight of our trip to port douglas. Ich habe diese Tour zwar schon vor vier Wochen gemacht, kann deshalb umso besser beurteilen, dass dies die beste Tour gewesen ist, die ich bisher gemacht habe. . Durch Stella habe ich zum ersten Mal viele Zusammenhänge verstanden: In einfachen aber Begeisterung auslösenden Worten sind mir viele Kreisläufe verständlich geworden auch das Leben mit dem Wasser. Ich weiß jetzt, wo es die besten Zitrusfrüchte gibt und dass Kühe auch schwimmen können. Eine große Freude hat dich mit den vielen Schildkröten, die wir gesehen haben und natürlich mit dem Wasserfall. Mir geht jedesmal das Herz auf wenn ich an diese Tour denke und auch wenn ich noch nicht wieder in Österreich bin, habe ich diese doch schon weiter empfohlen. Vielen lieben Dank

There are few words to describe how wonderful these chalets are! Implacably clean, well-appointed, breathtaking views and loads of thoughtful touches that make the entire experience absolutely wonderful! It is distilled paradise and we loved every minute of our stay.

We booked the 2.5 hour Cassowary falls tour and we didn’t realise what a unique and special trip we were in for!From the moment we met Bruce his local knowledge and passion for the land was inspirational. Our children were so engaged in the fun and informative tour where we learnt all about the natural orchard, citrus and native bush food growing in this paradise and how the cattle work in with the land. Our kids loved smelling / tasting the local berries and native food that was in season.The private waterfall was filled with fish and turtles and incredible bearded lizard my 6 year old son was so close to.We swam with all of our kids in the waterfall and it felt like our own paradise with Bruce making us feel safe.Thank you so such Bruce for a unique tour of this special place. Your knowledge or the land and the rainforest is clearly your passion and we will remember this experience forever.
We had an absolutely amazing time on our UTV tour! Our guide Bruce was fantastic; knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience feel like an adventure. Along the way he showed us different bush tuckers, let us try some, and pointed out all kinds of plants and animals. The off-roading was a highlight with river crossings that splashed us (a big wow factor) and then speeding up to air-dry us afterwards.Halfway through the tour we stopped at a stunning waterfall, where we got to swim in the refreshing water, feed the fish, and even pat turtles, fish, and an eel. Such a unique and memorable experience.The adventure kept going afterwards with more off-roading and exploring, and it never felt like there was a dull moment. A big shout-out also to our second guide Molly who did a great job capturing photos and was so lovely to chat with.Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure and we’ll definitely be back next time!

We were a last minute booking to the Cassowary falls tour. It was amazing!!Our guides Bruce and Stella were fantastic. They were both so knowledgeable on the rainforest, full of interesting and sometimes funny info about the trees, the fruit, the birds, the bugs, the eels, the fish and more. The Falls were incredible. We would recommend this to everyone as a must do😊
The service was AMAZING •‿• we went in the car with ✨Stella✨ she was THE BEST. we went through the rainforest that looked like Jurassic park 🦖 and she asked if we were okay to get wet and we said yes (of course) so we went SUPER fast through some creeks and got SOAKED (in a good way) 💦 we also went down a hill and that bit was more fun than most theme park rides! 🎢🎡. We got to taste green ants, (they were the best in my opinion), grapefruit (that was very sweet), and a few types of berries. Once we got to the waterfall, Stella fed an eel called Lucky 🍀 and we got to feed fish, eels and also turtles 🐢 we also got to pat them! Before we went swimming, Andy pointed out a water dragon! (It's a type of lizard, not a dragon!) We then went swimming in the waterfall and then Stella showed us how to get behind it! Over all it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are visiting from New York City on our honeymoon and did the full-day Daintree Waters tour to Cassowary Falls - it was absolutely spectacular!! Estella was an incredible guide – she was personable, passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and brought the best energy the entire day. One of the best guides we’ve ever had in our travels!The tour takes place on a ~200 acre private property, and we explored by four-wheelers through the stunning rainforest, spotting unique plants and insect species along the way. We then ventured to the most magical waterfall and swimming hole, where we swam, relaxed, and captured amazing photos. After that, we visited the Daintree River and spotted numerous massive crocodiles!10/10 would recommend this tour – it was a true highlight of our trip and Estella, in particular, was so wonderful!!
Was a very nice and special tour, Bruce was amazing, very knowledgeable and feeling his passion was wholesome. On the other hand although Stella did a good job overall, she did ask prior if we were okay with a splash and we said yes, as long as it’s not too much… and completely didn’t give a toss about that and decided that her fun doing a few MASSIVE splashes was more important than listening to us, fair enough at least could have told us to not wear our shoes… I am now in the Daintree for an other week, with wet shoes impossible to dry due to their thickness and humid environment, buying a new ones is a mission considering the isolated location we are, wish i brought spare shoes… thank you Stella
The cabin is spacious and charming, with a well-equipped kitchen and a veranda facing the wonderful view, including barbecue facilities. Breakfast is tasty and satisfying. The crown jewel is the tour to the waterfall, in off-road vehicles driven by the staff, who also provided fascinating information about the area, the plants, and the wildlife. Swimming in the pool beneath the waterfall, surrounded by magnificent nature, is refreshing and delightful. The location is excellent and very convenient for Daintree rainforest trips.

My highlight was the waterfall/swimming - unlike so many I’ve seen, it’s actually even better than it looks in the pics. Loved the friendly turtles and fish. Butterflies everywhere! This was the most amazing day for me and my family. The tour guides Stella and Bruce were incredibly knowledgeable and made our day even better than it already was. So well organised and beautiful property.So much fun around the property on the ATV’s, not your average bus tour in the best way.
Amazing experience in the Daintree rainforrest. Experienced hosts delivering relevant information about the region. Unique remote location, not over run with caravans and RV’s. Swimming at the waterfall was great fun and a must do. Highly recommended

Did the Cassowary Falls Tour. Was absolutely amazing, Wepiha was super knowledgeable and fun. The UTV ride and Waterfall were absolute highlights of our trip in Port Douglas!
We went on a guided tour led by Bruce today in the lovely Cassowary Falls. The land is beautiful - think Jurassic Park. Bruce is incredibly knowledgeable and talked us through local plants and animals on the way to the waterfall. Particular highlights were Bruce's jeep drive - more exciting then most theme park rides! - and swimming with fish and turtles at the end. Highly recommended!
Nous étions avec enfants. 2h39 d’excursion incroyable ! On été pris en charge par un premier guide puis par Wepihq. Des vrais aventuriers. On a vu la cascade mais c est presque anecdotique. Wepihq est exceptionnel, on a adoré les explications sur la forêt tropicale, histoire, fruits etc.. et surtout la balade en jeep. Je vous en dit pas pas plus… je recommande à 1000%
Our two teenagers, aged 12 and 17, forgot to sulk all day, and we parents loved every minute of it.The buggy ride with Wepiha is super rock'n'roll... unforgettable! Our 8-year-old daughter said it was better than the roller coasters. Such a nice encounter. Wepiha, you soaked us for the best! :-)The waterfall is magnificent and full of surprises, the lunch is well organized and the tour on the river brings a total immersion in this wild nature. We highly recommend the all-day experience!
We had a tour with Wepiha. It was so fun and informative. He kept us safe and showed how to navigate the waterfall!! It was a blast! Highly recommend!!!
We did the tour - it was so amazing and by far one of my favourite parts of my trip to the Daintree. The tour guide Weehepa (I am really butchering his name - so sorry!!) was incredible and so knowledgeable. I absolutely loved the ATV ride and was laughing like a child!! Thank you 😁
We did the waterfall tour and where blown away by the experience. Feed the fishes, turtles and enjoy a refreshing swim. Try local fruits and we event tried some delicious lime flavoured ants. Get to see the wait a bit , king fern and other cool rain forest plants. If you are in the region this tour is a must. Thanks Wipiha ! Regards Nick , Alexander & Maxim
We had such a great time on the ATV tour with Wepiha. He was super knowledgeable, engaged and it was a fun ride.The waterfall is a must visit- the swim was refreshing in the heat- and swimming up to a waterfall exhilarating and awe inspiring. Our group had it all to ourselves.All up- this was a highlight of the trip.
Nga mihi nui to Wepiha for a fantastic and informative tour and to Andy for sharing his piece of paradise. We had the best time on this tour and learnt so much. Wepiha (aka Maui) has a great sense of humour and his enthusiasm for sharing what he knows leaves you wanting to know more. The ATV ride was a lot of fun and the waterfall at the end was stunningly refreshing. We would love to come back and do this tour again.
