We did the Cassowary falls guided tour with guide Stella, it was so much fun and highly educational. A definite must do. Highly recommended. Swimming with fish and turtles under the falls was sublime.
We had the most amazing day with the Cassowary Falls team (Estella, Molly & Bruce). Cannot recommend highly enough - the perfect balance of fun, adrenaline, eco-tourism & education! Estella took care of us for the day and was SOOOO friendly and easy to talk to, we loved her. Chatted easily all day and her local knowledge of the area was amazing - she was smiling fm pick up to drop off. She was so much fun - loved the relaxed vibe the guides had with each other. Bruce was such a proud local and it felt like such a privilege to have him share this incredibly unique part of the world with us. Thanks guys!!!! Loved it!!!

Stella took four of us out for a couple of hours and it was the best experience we have had so far in Australia. Stella was very knowledgeable, always smiling and very sharp, she made the the rain forest come alive and her understanding of the wildlife and the vegetation, the trip to the waterfall, the sheer fun of the drive was great, thank you Stella, you rock😊
Stella and Molly we’re incredible tour guides, we were so privileged to be able to be taken onto the private property into Daintree forest and learn all about the wildlife and native plants & fruits, they love to have a joke around which we loved the most making it fun and laid back, you won’t get a tour as special as this being closed off to the public unable to be ruined by tourists, truly incredible!!
What an AMAZING experience. Stella and Molly were incredible. We started off this intitmate adventure on two buggies (max 10 people at a time) and they taught us which wild berries and fruit we could eat, history of the private property and surrounding history listed daintree rainforest. We then finished off with a surreal swim with at the majestic ✨️ waterfall, while out 4 and 6 year old kids patted and fed fish, eels and turtles. The highlight of our trip to port douglas. Stella by name and Stella by nature.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our honeymoon stay was nothing short of unforgettable. The infinity pool overlooking Thornton Peak is simply breathtaking—sunsets from there felt like something out of a dream. The luxury chalet, complete with our own private spa, added such a special touch to the whole experience.A huge shoutout to our host, Andrew and Liz, who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. And Bear—their friendly dog—is an absolute legend! He greeted us and even joined us for a swim in the pool. It’s those little moments that made the whole experience feel personal and unforgettable.We also did the Cassowary Falls tour, and it was the perfect mix of adventure and insight. Riding the ATV through the rainforest was a thrill, and our guide Estella was phenomenal—so knowledgeable and passionate about the Daintree. The highlight? A private swim at Cassowary Falls. Peaceful, refreshing, and absolutely magical.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic escape with a splash of adventure and natural beauty.
Really high quality chalet with everything we needed to feel comfortable, and that breathtaking view! Just so beautiful and relaxing. Also recommend doing the tour, was so much fun, the waterfall where you can swim is spectacular.
Ich habe diese Tour zwar schon vor vier Wochen gemacht, kann deshalb umso besser beurteilen, dass dies die beste Tour gewesen ist, die ich bisher gemacht habe. . Durch Stella habe ich zum ersten Mal viele Zusammenhänge verstanden: In einfachen aber Begeisterung auslösenden Worten sind mir viele Kreisläufe verständlich geworden auch das Leben mit dem Wasser. Ich weiß jetzt, wo es die besten Zitrusfrüchte gibt und dass Kühe auch schwimmen können. Eine große Freude hat dich mit den vielen Schildkröten, die wir gesehen haben und natürlich mit dem Wasserfall. Mir geht jedesmal das Herz auf wenn ich an diese Tour denke und auch wenn ich noch nicht wieder in Österreich bin, habe ich diese doch schon weiter empfohlen. Vielen lieben Dank

There are few words to describe how wonderful these chalets are! Implacably clean, well-appointed, breathtaking views and loads of thoughtful touches that make the entire experience absolutely wonderful! It is distilled paradise and we loved every minute of our stay.

This tour was great! Tour guide Stella was amazing - super friendly & knowledgeable! The ATV ride was a lot of fun & the waterfall was beautiful! Loved all the fish, turtles & eels, as well as all the wildlife & rainforest we saw along the way! The croc cruise was also fantastic, seeing 4 crocs! Would definitely recommend this tour!

We booked the 2.5 hour Cassowary falls tour and we didn’t realise what a unique and special trip we were in for!From the moment we met Bruce his local knowledge and passion for the land was inspirational. Our children were so engaged in the fun and informative tour where we learnt all about the natural orchard, citrus and native bush food growing in this paradise and how the cattle work in with the land. Our kids loved smelling / tasting the local berries and native food that was in season.The private waterfall was filled with fish and turtles and incredible bearded lizard my 6 year old son was so close to.We swam with all of our kids in the waterfall and it felt like our own paradise with Bruce making us feel safe.Thank you so such Bruce for a unique tour of this special place. Your knowledge or the land and the rainforest is clearly your passion and we will remember this experience forever.
We had an absolutely amazing time on our UTV tour! Our guide Bruce was fantastic; knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience feel like an adventure. Along the way he showed us different bush tuckers, let us try some, and pointed out all kinds of plants and animals. The off-roading was a highlight with river crossings that splashed us (a big wow factor) and then speeding up to air-dry us afterwards.Halfway through the tour we stopped at a stunning waterfall, where we got to swim in the refreshing water, feed the fish, and even pat turtles, fish, and an eel. Such a unique and memorable experience.The adventure kept going afterwards with more off-roading and exploring, and it never felt like there was a dull moment. A big shout-out also to our second guide Molly who did a great job capturing photos and was so lovely to chat with.Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure and we’ll definitely be back next time!

We were a last minute booking to the Cassowary falls tour. It was amazing!!Our guides Bruce and Stella were fantastic. They were both so knowledgeable on the rainforest, full of interesting and sometimes funny info about the trees, the fruit, the birds, the bugs, the eels, the fish and more. The Falls were incredible. We would recommend this to everyone as a must do😊
The service was AMAZING •‿• we went in the car with ✨Stella✨ she was THE BEST. we went through the rainforest that looked like Jurassic park 🦖 and she asked if we were okay to get wet and we said yes (of course) so we went SUPER fast through some creeks and got SOAKED (in a good way) 💦 we also went down a hill and that bit was more fun than most theme park rides! 🎢🎡. We got to taste green ants, (they were the best in my opinion), grapefruit (that was very sweet), and a few types of berries. Once we got to the waterfall, Stella fed an eel called Lucky 🍀 and we got to feed fish, eels and also turtles 🐢 we also got to pat them! Before we went swimming, Andy pointed out a water dragon! (It's a type of lizard, not a dragon!) We then went swimming in the waterfall and then Stella showed us how to get behind it! Over all it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are visiting from New York City on our honeymoon and did the full-day Daintree Waters tour to Cassowary Falls - it was absolutely spectacular!! Estella was an incredible guide – she was personable, passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and brought the best energy the entire day. She was curious, always smiling, and made the whole experience unforgettable! One of the best guides we’ve ever had in our travels!The tour takes place on a ~200 acre private property, and we explored by four-wheelers through the stunning rainforest, spotting unique plants and insect species along the way. We then ventured to the most magical waterfall and swimming hole, where we swam, relaxed, and captured amazing photos. After that, we visited the Daintree River and spotted numerous massive crocodiles!10/10 would recommend this tour – it was a true highlight of our trip and Estella, in particular, was so wonderful!!
Was a very nice and special tour, Bruce was amazing, very knowledgeable and feeling his passion was wholesome. On the other hand although Stella did a good job overall, she did ask prior if we were okay with a splash and we said yes, as long as it’s not too much… and completely didn’t give a toss about that and decided that her fun doing a few MASSIVE splashes was more important than listening to us, fair enough at least could have told us to not wear our shoes… I am now in the Daintree for an other week, with wet shoes impossible to dry due to their thickness and humid environment, buying a new ones is a mission considering the isolated location we are, wish i brought spare shoes… thank you Stella
The cabin is spacious and charming, with a well-equipped kitchen and a veranda facing the wonderful view, including barbecue facilities. Breakfast is tasty and satisfying. The crown jewel is the tour to the waterfall, in off-road vehicles driven by the staff, who also provided fascinating information about the area, the plants, and the wildlife. Swimming in the pool beneath the waterfall, surrounded by magnificent nature, is refreshing and delightful. The location is excellent and very convenient for Daintree rainforest trips.

We went on a guided tour led by Bruce today in the lovely Cassowary Falls. The land is beautiful - think Jurassic Park. Bruce is incredibly knowledgeable and talked us through local plants and animals on the way to the waterfall. Particular highlights were Bruce's jeep drive - more exciting then most theme park rides! - and swimming with fish and turtles at the end. Highly recommended!
Nous étions avec enfants. 2h39 d’excursion incroyable ! On été pris en charge par un premier guide puis par Wepihq. Des vrais aventuriers. On a vu la cascade mais c est presque anecdotique. Wepihq est exceptionnel, on a adoré les explications sur la forêt tropicale, histoire, fruits etc.. et surtout la balade en jeep. Je vous en dit pas pas plus… je recommande à 1000%
Our two teenagers, aged 12 and 17, forgot to sulk all day, and we parents loved every minute of it.The buggy ride with Wepiha is super rock'n'roll... unforgettable! Our 8-year-old daughter said it was better than the roller coasters. Such a nice encounter. Wepiha, you soaked us for the best! :-)The waterfall is magnificent and full of surprises, the lunch is well organized and the tour on the river brings a total immersion in this wild nature. We highly recommend the all-day experience!

We did the waterfall tour and where blown away by the experience. Feed the fishes, turtles and enjoy a refreshing swim. Try local fruits and we event tried some delicious lime flavoured ants. He was super knowledgeable, engaged and it was a fun ride.The waterfall is a must visit- the swim was refreshing in the heat- and swimming up to a waterfall exhilarating and awe inspiring. My husband and I stayed at Cassowary falls for two nights and had the most wonderful time! A beautiful chalet with absolutely everything you could need. Excellent facilities and a few complimentary treats! The view was amazing, the butterflies, cows and birds kept us occupied for hours. We never left our chalet, only to visit the amazing infinity pool and swim with handsome boy Bear. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!!
We had an absolute blast on the UVT Biggie Tour and Waterfall experience! I honestly didn’t think anything could top the amazing reviews we read beforehand – but somehow, the real thing was even better. From start to finish, it was nothing short of incredible.Our kids (aged between 3 and 12) had the best time, and the adults loved every second too. The tour was super well-run, family-friendly, and packed with fun and adventure for all ages. The waterfall stop was breathtaking and a real highlight of the day.We highly recommend this tour – it’s an unforgettable experience and we’d 100% do it again!
We did the waterfall and Daintree rainforest adventure via ATV and would highly recommend. Zooming through streams, up hills and through the forest was a lot of fun, all whilst learning about the terrain and coexisting eco systems. The waterfall was beautiful, the water chilly but refreshing. We saw eels, fish, catfish and turtles. A great way to experience the Daintree, the kids in particular loved it.
Small group, great knowledge, some thrills on the av; both speed and water. The falls were pristine and serene, fish and turtles and gorgeous scenery on the edge of heritage forest.
We just expected this tour to be a walk to the waterfall and that to be it. But we were blown away by the entire experience and had so much fun. Andy was a great guide and explained a lot about the wildlife in the forest and also the history of the place. He was really nice and welcoming. The waterfall itself was amazing, the water is incredibly fresh and great for a swim. Next was the ‘adrenaline’ stage of the tour and we felt like we were in Jurassic park the whole time as Stella drove us around in the forest to see incredible views and some very high speed moves as well. All the staff were super cool and welcoming would 100% recommend doing this tour.

It was absolute amazing!!! Wipiah was an amazing your guide who was so much fun. Stella and Andy were amazing as well informing us on all the different nature. The kids enjoyed it so so much and very much enjoyed the car ride getting wet! The waterfall was gorgeous and there was even turtles and fish that you could feed. Overall it was an amazing experience both educational and full of adventure!!

We had a fabulous time on the tour (two middle aged folk with a teenage son). The ATV trip was super fun and even the usually-grumpy-15-year old had a great time. Our tour guide was engaging and fun. It was great to learn about the native plants. We loved the ATV trip to the falls. The falls were great - we enjoyed swimming there and seeing the freshwater perch turtles. Highly recommend!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! STELLA IS THE BEST. I’m a very quiet person and usually keep to myself, but this tour was something else. stella was so kind, calm, beautiful and had a gentle presence that made me feel totally comfortable. I even swam in my underwear—which says a lot! When I slipped off a rock at the waterfall, she was my knight in shining armour!After struggling with my health, this experience made me feel alive and free again. It was more than just a tour—it was healing. Thank you for that 🤍
My family did the ATV tour of the property here in Mid-May and it was outstanding - excellent value for the service provided. We got to sample fruit, were given information about the flora and fauna and swam with fishes and turtles in the beautiful falls toward the end. The ATV ride itself was great (no driving Miss Daisy here!) - but we decided not to get wet through the creek crossing; you can do that when you swim and being dry for the drive was much more pleasant. Highly recommend for everyone. We even got to eat our lunch up by the swimming pool and have a dip before we left.Our amazing host (Kia Ora brother) had bug spray, but load up before you head off because there are mozzies - it is the rainforest after all.

What an awesome and fun tour to the Cassowary Falls, from getting soaked stream crossing in an ATV, to cross country driving then swimming with turtles at the Cassowary Falls and finishing this adventurous day with crocodile spotting. This tour is a must, even if you are grey haired - a great tour for kids and oldies alike. We enjoyed this fun filled tour so much and thank our guide, Wirrepa, for making sure we got wet! It was so cool and a must do experience. Loved every minute.
My wife and I went on the Cassowary Falls tour on our honeymoon. The tour guide was fantastic, he was funny, knowledgeable and very considerate. My wife is pregnant and he made sure she was ok throughout the tour. We loved swimming in the falls, the water was so fresh! Seeing all the turtles and fish was a highlight. Yesterday we went on the ATV guided waterfall tour and WOW!! We took our boys 4 and 7, our amazing guide was so engaging with them. Was just the perfect balance of knowledge learning and adventure fun! Trying all the fruits was so fascinating, the adventuring and being soaked thru the water (optional) had us belly laughing and ending with the waterfall and turtles, fish and eels was a hit! We couldn’t recommend this more. Thank you for a fantastic day
Wow!!! What an incredible tour. We were so lucky to have Stella guide us. She made the tour so much fun, educational and showed us how wonderful the Daintree is. We were lucky enough o swim with awesome turtles and given the waterfall is not accessible to the public, you have the fall to your self with the guidance of Stella. Perfect for all ages. We're early 40's and have a 6 and 11 year old and we all had the time of our life. Thank you Stella and team for giving us life long memories of one of the most beautiful spots in the world
Cannot recommend this tour enough! It is AMAZING!!!!! Stella was an absolute gem of a person, sooo knowledgeable and welcoming!! She even jumped in with us at the waterfall to assist with our kids. We toured the incredible property, learnt sooo much about bush food and the rainforest, got to taste the food and experience a truly magical swim at the waterfall, which our 6 and 11 year old have been begging to go back to again!! So worth the money!! When you are passionate about what you do it shines through in the experiences shared with others! Thank you Stella!!

I booked the Cassowary Falls tour and arrived to find I was the only guest for my tour. I was taken anyway by the delightful Wepiha for a personal tour of the property finishing with a swim at these magnificent falls. I cannot fault the personal attention I received. He was relatively new to the tour but already had good knowledge to share. There was no pretending about new stuff he was learning either. A great afternoon.
Went for the guided tour to the waterfall. We had the most amazing time. Our tour guide had so much knowledge and was so informative. He made the whole tour so fun. If your in the area it’s a must!!
We didn’t stay in the accommodation but we did do the ATV Tour. Loads of fun. Wepiha was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. A word of warning: you will get WET!
We were picked up by Wep and taken to the most beautiful property amongst the rainforest and then went with him and Stella in the Canam vehicles for an exhilarating ride across the property. Stopped along the way to taste beautiful citrus fruits and edible berries and Stella informed us about the various trees and vines in the forest and how it regenerates itself. Both guides had brilliant knowledge of the rainforest. Then we swam in Cassowary Falls with Stella joining us and showing us where to swim, how to climb the falls and jump in. The whole experience was amazing and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Met Andy and Liz as well while they were enjoying sitting on their veranda admiring the view of Mt Thornton. All very warm and welcoming people who obviously enjoy and care for their environment. No visit to Pt Douglas would be complete without doing this tour
We had the best time on tour today, a friend of Andrew's was our guide, very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the sustainability of the rainforest. We got to try some berries and grapefruit, the kids loved the blue tongue berries. The ride was awesome, lots of splashes, make sure to bring a towel & change of clothes for after. Location easy to find. The waterfall was amazing, kids loved seeing the fish & turtles.Cheers!

We did a two and a half hour ATV with Bruce and Whip. Hands down, a super fun time. The kids had the biggest smile on their faces and commented it has been the highlight of their holiday. We got wet, then dry, wet then dry and swam at the most beautiful waterfall. It’s very comforting to know this place is being cared for and will be treasured for future generations. Thank you so much and I’d definitely return to stay in the accommodation next time. 👌
Wow, what a great experience Thankyou Wep for a top-notch adventure visiting Cassowary Falls today. Very knowledgeable, personable, professional and full of energy.Wep took us on a super charged ATV ride, plenty of water, hills and corners travelled today. "Photography Extraordinar" capturing memorable moments along the way. Cassowary Falls was beautiful and the aquatic life was lovely to see, turtles, fish & eels.Thanks again Wep we will definitely recommend our friends & family come along for a great fun filled adventure, it was well worth it.

Brilliant tour a few weeks ago. Would 100% recommend. We had Travis as our tour guide, and it was a really unique and fun way to see the forest. Prepare to get wet! But so much fun and will definitely do it again when we are back in the future.
We did the atv and waterfalls tour. Wep was a great tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The adrenalin was certainly pumping through the atv drive to and from the waterfall. Wep was also great with our son, who loved feeding the fish and turtles. The highlight was definitely swimming under the waterfall. Thank you for having us. We recommend this tour.
We had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour. Action packed from the time it started to the the time it ended. Full of botanical and historical information from our very passionate guides. Beautiful scenery, waterfall and various aquatic animals that are hand fed. It rained the day we visited that made the Rainforest even more breathtaking. The swollen creeks and muddy tracks made the rides in the Can-Ams the best fun. Thanks again for an unforgettable day.
little lodges, all spaced out, but still feels like you're part of a secret jungle village. It's like glamping, but with actual walls and a roof.Now, the dogs. Forget about it. They're like furry alarm clocks, bounding up in the morning, tails wagging like they're trying to take off. Cutest thing in the world, until you realise they're also the local insect delivery service.shut your bloody door at night. Seriously. Unless you want a room full of critters that'll make you question your life choices. Think "jungle wildlife experience," but indoors.The property itself? Top-notch. Peaceful, secluded, and perfect for escaping the chaos. We used it as our base camp for adventures up to Cape Tribulation, which, by the way, is worth the drive.
Exceeded expectations. A really cool way to experience the Daintree. Travis was an excellent guide. The tour was both informative and fun. And swimming in a waterfall with turtles was a highlight.
We had so much fun on this tour. Our guide, Travis was so knowledgeable about the area and made sure we had the best time riding around on the ATV. The waterfall was beautiful and peaceful, easy to get in and have a swim. I would 100% recommend this tour and would love to go again.

My lovely wife booked this adventure last minute which included the forest, with the atv ride and waterfall/creek experience.. and i tell you what, was it worth it!Our tour guide Bruce was a deadset legend. So much knowledge of the forest, insects, cattle, you name it!Bruce even helped out my mother in-law make a smooth entrance/exit from the swimming hole next to the waterfall, always made sure everyone was taken care of.Can’t thank him enough for all his efforts.If you are visiting north queensland you MUST visit this place. Beautiful scenery and you’ll leave with a big bloody smile on your face 👍🏻
Was so privileged to do the waterfalls tour last weekend with Travis on this beautiful property. I am a local resident to Port Douglas but have had this on my bucket list for a while. Absolutely loved it, what a fabulous way to spend 2 hours enjoying and learning more about the beautiful daintree rainforest and the icing on the cake to swim in the magical Cassowary Falls. Travis was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the area, I figured he'd been there for ages but only 6 weeks in, but he is so engaging and awesome. We were lucky to only have 2 of us on this tour which was amazing, and the ATV ride is such a bonus and so much fun. Definitely dress to get wet. The views are amazing, the beautiful turtles and fish and patting Lucky the eel is so special. I could go on and on. This is one if the most under promoted tours in our region...everyone should go on this and I'll be recommending to all my visitors. Now my next bucket list item is to stay there! We drove to Cassowary Falls based on a suggestion from Google maps. It's in a beautiful spot near to Daintree Village and we stopped and saw a crocodile on the banks of the Daintree river on our way along the Creb track. Arrived at Cassowary Falls entrance only to be scared off by an aggressive barking German Shephard along the driveway. You are PREVENTED from going along the drive to the Falls as it is private land and upon ringing the number on the sign we found it out is a tour you must take, costing $130 pp, and it goes twice a day. Complete disappointment that anyone would not be able to access a natural site and that there is no indication of this when you look at Google maps. Waste of time going and too expensive anyway, if you wanted the tour.
Had an amazing fantastic tour today with Bruce. From the start when we’d picked up at the hotel till we arrived back late afternoon we had a great time.It was an amazing experience to travel by ATV into the rainforest and to the waterfall- to see all the turtles and fish and bathing in a paradise with fresh water in the middle of the rainforest- amazing!Going onto the boat cruise and looking for crocodiles a along with a picknick basket 🙌🏻I can only recommend to take this full tour and hope you will enjoy this just as much as I did. Bruce and Travis were the best guides for this adventure we had today. Thanks and good luck from us northern Danes 😊
Had the absolute best time with Bruce. He is so knowledgeable and entertaining. He made sure my husband and I had a blast & took amazing photos of us. Lunch was provided and well made. Overall a fantastic day and my favorite part of our trip. Way better than the excursion we did to the reef. I’ll never forget it.
Thank you Bruce and Travis for the most amazing experience - a real highlight of our trip to Australia. Bruce - you were super knowledgeable and brought the Daintree Forest alive, and Travis - your driving skills were excellent, although perhaps you enjoyed soaking us all just a little too much 😂. The setting for the ATV adventure is simply stunning and the whole thing was like a white knuckle ride David Attenborough experience, ending with the most magical swim, complete with turtles and fish, at the most beautiful waterfall.Cannot thank you guys enough and would highly recommend to anyone even remotely considering it.
The Cassowary Falls tour was a fantastic way to round up our visit to the Daintree Rainforest. We had an amazing guide in Travis who showed incredible levels of knowledge of the fruit trees, plants and animals that thrive on the land.
